The application period for the projects that are going to be presented at the 4th Eastern Economic Forum is over.
Project initiators have submitted 179 applications. Total declared investment volume of all the projects is 1.776 billion rubles. Top three regions by the number of submitted applications are Sakha Republic, Yakutia (52 applications), Khabarovsk Krai (31 applications) and Primorsky Krai (30 applications).  
Most projects are related to tourism, agriculture, transportation and logistics. The rarest project theme is fossil fuels extraction.
Some of the main selection criteria will be the stage of project implementation, its importance for the region, use of new technologies and creation of high-end jobs.
The Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok from 11th through 13th September 2018. It is estimated to host around 7,000 visitors.
